Ninpo Nin-jutsu Ju-jitsu Conmel Dojo

Genbukan Ninpo Dojo-Clonmel is taking students since beginning of 2010.
Ninpo is traditional Japanese Martial Art that has a lineage of 32 grandmasters, and is thought in traditional manner. This means, that the way in which the training is presented is traditional and remains unchanged sins very old times. We study techniques of Nin-jitsu,(ninja arts) Tai jitsu (unarmed defence)Biken-jitsu (wooden sword) bo-jitsu and many more.
The training includes spiritual teachings of Amatsu Tatara. It makes this martial art different from the others. Learning spiritual and martial arts together is very important. having only the knowledge of martial arts and no spiritual background is the same as giving a weapon to a child, on the other side having only spiritual background and no martial side one is not able to protect the truth and spirit.
Ninpo is a self defense martial art. Learning self defense one is also thought of how to attack, but self defense is emphasized
Women are very welcome to the training, and this training is as important to the women as to men. it gives confidence, teaches tactics of how to avoid the fight and not to fight, there are many examples of women warriors, that with wisdom technique and tactics won fights without even fighting.
I have also started teaching children. With the training they become more concentrated, aware of their surroundings, confident, well able to stand against the bully and defend themselves. Manners thought in the Dojo, well affects a behavior of the children
My name is Valdas and i am an instructor in the dojo. I study Ninpo since 2002. under Martin O'Raghallaigh, Kyoshi. Also I have a 20 years of experience of spiritual teachings, visited Honbu Dojo in Japan in 2009 were I was training under Shoto Tanemura-Grand master of Ninpo. This was amazing and unforgettable experience.
When speaking of Ninja, The image of black clad assassin disappearing in the cloud of smoke is often what comes to mind. This nothing to do with the reality. To no extent does Ninja place his heart second to the sword. A Ninja never carries a grudge when humiliated or denounced. A ninja possesses a compassionate heart and pursues peace and harmony. This attitude is called a spirit of Ninniku. Ceaselessly helping the people around him, a Ninja uses the Ninpo to maintain a just society. For this purpose, Ninpo Bugei, the origin of martial arts and previously a guarded secret, can now be thought to all.
